Wild Card Weekend is upon us and the full slate of games on Saturday and Sunday kick off the new year with some enticing matchups:
Saturday, Jan. 9
AFC Wild Card Game 1: Kansas City Chiefs vs. Houston Texans, 4:35 p.m., ESPN
AFC Wild Card Game 2: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals, 8:15 p.m., CBS
Sunday, Jan. 10
NFC Wild Card Game 1: Seattle Seahawks vs. Minnesota Vikings, 1:05 p.m., NBC
NFC Wild Card Game 2: Green Bay Packers vs. Washington, 4:40 p.m., FOX
Multiple story lines lead us into the Wild Card. Marvin Lewis is looking to finally win a playoff game with the Cincinnati Bengals and they have the difficult task of the high power offense under Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers. The Kansas City Chiefs are riding a 10 game win streak into the playoffs, overcoming a 1-5 start, and will face JJ Watt and the Houston Texans. Sunday’s action is no different, as two of the games best QB’s (Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers) will be on the road to face the Minnesota Vikings and Washington Redskins, respectively.
