The opening games to the NBA Playoffs went about as scripted as they could get. The top half of the Western Conference demolished the bottom half, with every result finishing as a blowout pretty quickly. The Eastern Conference was a bit more competitive, the Hawks and Celtics battled in the best game of the weekend, the Pistons gave the Cavs a run and the Raptors dropped the only home game of the weekend on the back of Paul George’s second half outburst at Air Canada Center. Stephen Curry left with a minor ankle injury and remained the only major player to suffer a setback so far.
