The Champions League knockout stage is underway and ESPN released an article with statistics backing the most successful patterns of Champions League winning teams. ESPN broke down Champions League success into six different categories: Spend Money, Own Your Players, Maximize Your Youth Academy, Time At Club Doesn’t Matter, Age Doesn’t Matter and Recruit Locally.
