The London Korean film festival is an annual event held in the UK featuring movies such as Kundo.
As an avid-movie goer, it would be great to experience films in Korea especially with 4DX a fourth dimension.
Korean Spirit
Some examples include:
- Gayageum - a traditional Korean instrument
- Taekwondo - an Olympic sport since 2000
- Infinite challenge
- The 2002 FIFA World Cup
- Korean Art
- Bang Ki Mun - the current Secretary-General of the UN
Since January 2008, the London Korean Cultural Centre promotes Korean spirit through art exhibitions, film nights, a library and more activities.
In 2011, I was lucky enough to spend my weekend enjoying the Korea Calling section of the London Thames Festival. Here Taekwondo and modern and traditional Korean performances held place.
I was particularly impressed by the variety, dedication and talent of all the performers and could expect the spirit in Korea to be quite the same.

In the British Museum, there is a large Korean section. In addition all the advanced audio guides are supported by Korean companies and technology.

- The Hanbok - a traditional Korean dress
- The Korean Home
- Korean Pottery Stationary
- Korean Gardens
- Korean Modern Fashion
- Lie Sang Bong - a designer with Hangul fashion designs
Korean Style can be found throughout YouTube with advice to specific Korean fashion trends as well as Korean styled make-up tutorials.
In addition, a quick search on the web can provide many examples of great Korean styles and designs, free for the whole world to enjoy.
In conclusion, having assessed many aspects of Korea in London. I would expect Korea to be both modern and traditional.
The smells, the sights, the spirit, the music and the design would be unlike any other in the world.
Like the speed of its internet, I would expect South Korea to be dynamic and exciting at every corner.
But even more so, its exquisite countryside that it offers with looming mountain ranges to calm scenery would allow any traveller to sit back and soothe all their daily troubles in their routinely lives.
