The tragic events in Charlottesville on Saturday have left such a cloud over this week in news and sports news it is difficult not to discuss the effect it has had across social media, especially in relation to athletes. Jeremy Roenick made some points on Twitter before deleting his statements, one of which was on Marshawn Lynch. As for some other voices who expressed concern, the fighting between media and left vs. right has not stopped, leaving frustration amongst some and concern for others.
