Gregg Popovich, head coach of the San Antonio Spurs, benched his starters against the New York Knicks this past week, and they went on to win 109-95. The Spurs are the reigning NBA champions, and it is evident that there bench players are better than the average bench of an NBA team. Their depth alongside future HOF Tim Duncan in addition to great coaching has made them a very successful franchise during the past decade.
