The Korea Film Archive releases the KOFA Cinema with Commentary-an audio commentary content for Korean classical films-on Jan. 18, 2024, the 50th anniversary of KOFA. The first film that Jung Sung-il introduces is ‘What Happens in an Alley’(Park Jong-ho, 1962). In the commentary, Jung Sung-il says that this home drama shows signs of the division of Korean society from a large family to a nuclear family after the war.
