Manchester City defeated Dynamo Kiev 3-1 in the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16 match on Wednesday. Sergio Aguero, David Silva and Yaya Toure found the back of the net for City who racked up three crucial away goals. Raheem Sterling showed speed and maturity with his decision making, assisting Silva on the second goal was pure beauty. Dyanmo Kiev found the scoreboard after Buyalskiy deflected a ball past Joe Hart, but it was mostly smooth sailing for Manchester City in the win.
PSV hosted Atletico Madrid in the Champions League Round of 16 on Wednesday and neither team was able to score a goal, as the match ended in a 0-0 draw. The defensive match was mostly possession football, one that was not the most exciting to watch. Regardless, PSV will have a chance to upset Atletico Madrid in the second leg in March.
