Conor McGregor did not live up to his prediction of beating Dennis Siver in the first two minutes of UFC Fight Night 59, but he did dominate his bulky opponent and was victorious after a stoppage with 1:54 remaining in the second round. McGregor immediately ran over to Jose Aldo, whom he will fight for a Featherweight title on Memorial Day Weekend in Las Vegas, to taunt and trash talk the current champion. The Notorious has made himself the most talked about fighter in the UFC through wild self promotion and constant trash talking, his work in the Octagon only bolsters his well deserving of a title shot.
"I said two minutes -- I meant two rounds," McGregor said. "I felt comfortable throughout. I don't think any of these featherweights pose a threat. Every single one keeps talking but I don't hear them talking about skill or technique, because they know I own that."
