Organised by the Asian Film Awards Academy, the Asian Film Awards in its 18th year and will continue to be held in Hong Kong this year. 30 outstanding films from 25 countries and regions will compete for 16 awards. The grand awards ceremony will take place on 16th March at Xiqu Centre. Renowned international film superstar and director Sammo Hung is the Jury President this year, while Japanese music and film star Dean Fujioka serves as the Ambassador. There are also four Youth Ambassadors: Thai actress Aokbab Chutimon, Taiwanese star Austin Lin, Hong Kong actor Lo Chun-yip, and Japanese actor Okada Masaki. The Awards also features film screenings, masterclasses and sharing sessions, allowing audiences and fans to engage closely with Asian filmmakers.
