Miesha Tate submitted Holly Holm to take the world title from the woman’s MMA fighter who dethroned Ronda Rousey, but Tate still has choice words for Rousey and whether or not she will be making a return to the octagon. Tate may be just adding fuel to the fire, but as part of a press tour that included sit down interviews with ESPN and Sports Illustrated, Tate said that she is not sure if Rousey will ever mentally overcome her loss to Holly Holm.
“I think one if she loses and two if she wins her comeback. That's the most she'll do,” Tate said, adding that she thinks Rousey’s “mind is elsewhere.” Tate went on to say that Rousey was already talking about retirement before her loss to Holly Holm and that Rousey’s decision to take a year off from fighting following her defeat is indicative of her desire to retire.”
