무심한 듯 툭툭 내뱉는 듯한 가사, 20대 초반의 서툰 연애와 지나간 순간에 대한 그리움을 노래하는 인디계의 아이돌 모트는 다양한 장르를 소화하며, 그 속에서 본인만의 노래 스타일을 유지한다. 2017년 9월 데뷔 싱글 발매 이후 꾸준히 음원을 발표했고, 웹드라마 ‘에이틴’ OST ‘도망가지마’로 큰 사랑을 받았으며, 2018년 10월에는 첫 번째 정규 앨범인 [사이]를 발표해 그동안의 이야기들을 하나로 모아 들려주며 본격적인 행보를 예고하였고, 귀여운 외모와 반전의 목소리로 드라마 OST퀸으로 성장했다.
