Cho Hyung Woo from the MBC ‘Star Audition season 1’ is releasing his first mini album [HIM]. He has attracted a lot of attention with his good looks and sweet voice. He debuted with the duet album with Gain, called [Romantic Spring], released in 2013 spring.
The first mini album [HIM] shows his musical abilities as a sing-a-song writer. It also shows his first actions as an artist as well.
The title song ‘Someone I know’ is a song made by Lee min soo and Kim eana. But rather than his sweet and perfect image, the song shows a cold and melancholy side of Cho Hyung Woo hidden on the other side.

MBC[スターオーディション-偉大な誕生]シーズン1出身のチョウ・ヒョンウが、ファーストミニアルバム『HIM』を発表する。
甘い声と爽やかなルックで放送当時から話題を集めたチョウ・ヒョンウは、2013年春、カインと一緒にデュエットアルバム『Romantic Spring』をリリースして正式にデビューした。今回発表するファーストミニアルバム『HIM』は、シンガーソングライターとして一層成長したチョウ・ヒョンウの音楽的力量を確認することができるアルバムであり、アーティストとしての第一歩を知らせるアルバムである。
タイトル曲「知合いの男」は、作曲家イ•ミンスと作詞家キム•イナコンビがチョウ・ヒョンウのために意気投合した曲。‘チョウ・ヒョンウ’を思い出したときに連想される善良なイメージとは少し違う、その裏面に隠されている冷たくてメランコリーな感じを表現しようとした。

감미로운 목소리와 훈훈한 외모로 방송 당시부터 화제를 모았던 조형우는 2013년 봄, 가인과 함께 듀엣 앨범 [Romantic Spring]를 발매하며 정식으로 데뷔한 바 있다. 이번에 발표하는 첫 번째 미니 앨범 [HIM]은 싱어송라이터로 한층 성장한 조형우의 음악적 역량을 확인할 수 있는 앨범이자, 아티스트로서의 첫 행보를 알리는 앨범이다.
타이틀곡 ‘아는 남자’는 작곡가 이민수와 작사가 김이나 콤비가 조형우를 위해 의기투합한 곡으로 ‘조형우’를 떠올렸을 때 연상되는 착하고 바른 이미지와는 살짝 어긋나 있는, 그 이면에 숨겨져 있는 차갑고 멜랑콜리한 느낌을 표현하고자 했다.
