"It's cold" is one of the double title songs of Shin Hyun Bo's new album. This song started off with Shim's desire to write a song that carries the "cold" and chilling emotions of a break-up. By the time the lyrics and the arrangement became ready, Shim thought a lot about which vocalist's tone will best fit the ambience. Shim wanted a voice that is different, perhaps a more "fragile" voice that belongs to a younger man. So Shim decided to have someone feature for the song, which turned out to be 2AM's Lim seul ong. Lim does an excellent job at bringing out the cold, indifferent mood of the song.

今回のアルバムのダブルタイトル曲のうち一曲です。別れの感情を冷たく表現した曲を書きたいと思って出発した曲です。歌詞がついて編曲が完成される頃には、この曲にふさわしいボーカルトーンについてたくさん悩みました。私の声とは少し異なる、ややか弱い青年の声がよく似合うような気がしました。悩んだ末にこの曲は、他の歌唱者が歌ったほうがいいという結論に達しました。幸いなことに2AMのイム•スロン君が参加することになってホットしました。冷たくて淡々と歌うイム•スロン君の感情が悲しくていい曲です。
이번 앨범의 더블 타이틀 곡 중 한 곡입니다. 이별의 정서를 차갑고 서늘하게 담은 곡을 쓰고 싶다는 생각에서 출발한 곡입니다. 가사가 붙고 편곡이 완성되어질 무렵에는 이곡에 어울리는 보컬 톤에 관해서 많이 고민했습니다. 제 목소리와는 조금 다른, 다소 여린 청년의 목소리가 잘 어울릴것 같다는 생각이 들었습니다. 고민 끝에 이 곡은 다른 가창자가 부르는 편이 이롭겠다는 결론에 이르렀죠. 다행히 2AM 임슬옹군이 참여하게 되어서 한시름 덜게 되었습니다. 서늘하고 무심한 듯 부른 임슬옹 군의 감정이 슬퍼서 좋은 곡입니다.
