Ben Simmons suffered a fracture in his foot and the timetable for his return has been nothing short of shady. The 76ers are still contemplating surgery, which has been deemed “likely” by many sources, and when he should return. One rumor that surfaced had to do with Simmons’ agent, Rich Paul, who, through one source, claimed that he does not want Simmons to play at all this season. While the rumor is a hot take headline, it is more likely that Simmons takes the court sometime in January, given previous players with the same injury and the approximate timetable that it took them to return.
