A controversial skit was pulled from the opening ceremony for the 2016 Rio Olympics which involved supermodel Gisele Bundchen. The opening ceremony always brings out some of the most exciting displays representing a wide array of culture and highlighting the host city.
“The skit, which seemed to feature the international supermodel getting robbed by a poor black boy, highlighting the Olympic host city's high crime rate and poverty, drew ire after it was featured during weekend rehearsals for the four-hour spectacle to kick off the 2016 Rio Games."
