Onstage K－Billy Carter ＆ Lazy Talk

If you thought Billy Carter was a big Western country singer with an acoustic guitar， you are totally wrong! Billy Carter is a Seoul－based trio that experiments with diverse styles of music whilst maintaining their roots in blues. This edition covers the story behind their formation as well as their journey as musicians until today and their practice session.
Billy Carter is comprised of vocalist Kim Ji－won， guitarist Kim Jin－ah and drummer Lee Hyun－joon. The band was initially formed as a duo by two best friends － Kim Ji－won and Kim Jin－ah － for their trip in the U.K. Upon coming back to Korea， the two recruited Lee Hyun－joon to further expand their musical scope and released their first EP this year. The threesome was recently chosen as a winner of the 2015 K－Rookies.

김지원， 김진아， 이현준으로 구성된 3인조 블루스 밴드로 2012년 김지원과 김진아가 영국여행을 가면서 시작하게 되었다. 여행을 하며 버스킹등의 공연으로 경험을 쌓은 김지원과 김진아는 영국에서돌아온 후 어쿠스틱 특유의 색채가 강했던 기존 음악에서 좀 더 과감한 시도와 표현을 더해보고자 2014년 드러머 이현준을 영입했다. 올해 새로운 빌리카터의 방향성을 알리는 EP를 발표했으며 최근K루키즈에 선정되기도 했다
