ONSTAGE K _ Sons of Tigers(호랑이아들들) & Eyes of Desire

Countless new indie musicians appear and disappear in Hongdae. Despite that reality, the rookie band Sons of Tiger is winning over both music lovers and critics with their red-blooded, youthful enthusiasm. Freely experimenting with blues, garage, punk and other music genres, this band has been making its mark in the industry since forming in 2014. As strong and powerful as a tiger, the trio roars on stage, and they're the guests of this week's ONSTAGE K.
Sons of Tiger consists of two siblings - vocalist and guitarist Jo Seong-min and drummer Jo Seong-hyun - and bassist Lim Hak-young. They released their debut EP, "Sons of Tiger," in September 2015 and are exemplifying the true indie spirit with their music and attitude, which is rarely found today.
인디음악의 메카 홍대... 그곳에는 많은 음악인들이 탄생을 하고 또 사라져간다. 그 속에서 점점 입소문을 타며 사람들 사이에서 그 이름이 회자되고 있는 신예 밴드가 있다. 바로 이것이 젊음이라는 것을 느낄 수 있는 밴드 호랑이아들들 블루스, 록앤롤, 개러지 등 다양한 음악을 시도하며 자신들의 색깔을 찾아가고 있는, 동네 친구같은 매력의 소탈한 세 남자, 하지만 그 속에 호랑이의 용맹함과 강인함을 가지고 있는 호랑이아들들을 만나본다.
형제사이인 조성민(보컬,기타), 조성현(드럼)에 임학영(베이스)이 가세해 팀을 이룬 3인조록밴드다. 1960년대 록큰롤에서 부터 펑크, 블루스, 개러지 등 온갖 장르를 망라해 2015년 9월 첫 EP '호랑이 아들들'을 발표했다. 진정한 인디 정신을 살려 녹음에서부터 제작, 유통까지 본인들의 힘으로 다 해낸 것으로 알려졌다.
