Pacquiao Agrees to Fight Mayweather, Finally Happening?!

Manny Pacquiao and promoter Bob Arum have agreed on terms to fight Floyd Mayweather at the MGM Grand on May 2. The world simply awaits a response from Floyd Mayweather, and the fight of the century seems closer than ever before. The fight would see a 60/40 split in favor of Floyd Mayweather, which was one of the major obstacles in the way. Ticket prices could hit a ceiling of $5,000 to accommodate the arena’s $40 million live gate.
“Mayweather has an exclusive contract with Showtime and Pacquiao is obligated to HBO. It is not immediately clear which network will broadcast the fight, though it is expected that both will be involved. That was the solution worked out in 2002, when Mike Tyson (Showtime) fought Lennox Lewis (HBO) in Memphis, Tenn.”
