To mark the 50th anniversary of formal ties between Korea and Canada, the cultural exchange event "A Story of Friendship" will be held in the Canadian cities of Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Vancouver from June 28 to July 8.
Promoting Korean culture in Canada: 'A Story of Friendship '
The purpose is to present Korean art and culture in a variety of genres and eras, ranging from traditional art based on ancient totemism, modern dance and a vocal concert with the traditional Korean music "gugak" to a b-boy performance.
Through hosting this event, KOCIS hopes to further cement bilateral cultural exchanges between Korea and Canada.
