26 year old running back Rashard Mendenhall has announced he will retire from the NFL. He appeared in two Super Bowls and, when healthy, was one of the finest young tailbacks in the game today. Mendenhall sites the ever-changing landscape of the National Football League and how he wishes to walk away because " I no longer wish to put my body at risk for the sake of entertainment."
