Ref WALKS OFF In Middle Of Bayer Leverkusen vs. Dortmund Match

Borussia Dortmund defeated Bayer Leverkusen 1-0 on Sunday, but most of the drama was reserved for the referee, Felix Zwayer, who took his officiating crew off of the pitch after Leverkusen manager Roger Schmidt refused to accept his ejection. The moment occured after Leverkusen conceded the lone goal of the match, and after 15 minutes of delay, Schmidt finally left so play could resume.
Schmidt claimed Dortmund's goal, scored by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, should not have stood. "I was too stubborn and reacted emotionally," said Schmidt afterwards. The 48-year-old claimed a free-kick leading to the goal was not taken from the right place.
