Sevilla took home its third straight title in the Europa League after a 3-1 result on the back of Coke, who banged in two huge goals in the second half. The first half was fully in favor of Liverpool, who exited the first 45 minutes with a 1-0 lead behind Daniel Sturridge’s screamer of a goal. The second half was all Sevilla, as Liverpool’s defense broke down and costly mistakes resulted in the two Coke goals and a tap in to lead off the half from Gameiro. Sevilla has dominated the Europa League for the past decade, and Jurgen Klopp fell one win short of bringing Liverpool home some hardware in his first year as manager.
