Sevilla, winners of three straight Europa League titles, on to the Round of 16 in the Champions League and now, proud owners of the second spot on La Liga table and the team that ended Real Madrid’s 40 game unbeaten run. For the record, Real Madrid has literally zero to worry about, as they are still in complete control of their destiny in La Liga. Sergio Ramos had himself a nightmarish week too, and the own goal was not one of his highlights from the 2016-2017 campaign, which has otherwise been a great run so far.
