The NBA All Star starters vote is overwhelmingly in favor of Kobe Bryant. The 20 year shooting guard for the Los Angeles Lakers currently has over 700,000 votes to be a starter in the back court for the Western Conference. Kevin Durant is closest to Kobe, but by “close” we mean over 350,000 votes behind. This would mark Bryant’s 19th all star game, and would be his most controversial, considering his numbers do not reflect the game of one that should be starting, arguably. Kobe is averaging 17.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists on a lowly 34 percent shooting in 2015-2016.
