Geum Kang-san, who grew up in the care of his grandmother, almost went off track after his grandmother’s death. It was Sun-joo, his dear friend, who kept him on track, reminding Kang-san that he has friends beside him. Thanks to her support, Kang-san could focus again on preparing for the university until he hears the news that Sun-joo has a child of her boyfriend.
Mi-rae, with her charming appearance and strong background, is seemingly a perfect person but has a wounded heart as she is an adopted child. She was once in love with Joo-hyuk, who seemed to love her, just to realize that he was only interested in her background. The person who comforts her wounded heart is Kang-san, a warm-hearted man who loves her, and lets her be herself.
Kang-san and Mi-rae realize they truly love each other, and decide to overcome all the odds against them. But Sun-joo, a long-lost wife of Kang-san appears again. What will be the choice of Kang-san? Will Kang-san and Mi-rae be able to become a ‘true’ lovers and a family?
