Fabienne Verdier went to Sichuan in 1983 to learn from some of the master calligraphers who’d had their artistic careers badly damaged by the Cultural Revolution. In her own career, Fabienne has applied her Chinese art skills to Western art, as can be seen in her current exhibition at City Hall. We spoke to her while she was in Hong Kong.
