One of the most debated NBA topics of all time revolves around Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls of the 1990’s. Jordan famously retired from the NBA to pursue a career in baseball, leaving the Bulls after three straight championships. During his two year sabbatical, the Bulls were unable to match the success they had in the playoffs with #23, but did put together strong seasons behind the leadership of Scottie Pippen. Hakeem Olajuwon and the Houston Rockets reapped the most benefit from MJ leaving the NBA scene, winning back-to-back titles in 1994 and 1995 (4-3 win over the Knicks followed by a 4-0 sweep of the Magic). If Jordan never retired, it is possible that the Bulls would have won eight straight titles, or maybe the whole team would have imploded. Debate down in the comments section what you believe would have happened to the Chicago Bulls if Jordan never retired.
