The NBA free agent market that is around the corner is one of the best we have seen in years. The likes of Kevin Durant, DeMar DeRozan, Andre Drummond and Mike Conley could end up hitting the open market, and the depth of talent that will be up for grabs in the summer could very well make a team that is far from contention this season, into an immediate title contender next season. Take Kevin Durant for example, if he were to leave Oklahoma City Thunder, one NBA team will get their hands on a four time scoring champion and league MVP. The issue at hand is which of these players deserve max contracts, because we know more often than not, teams hand out max contracts like candy.
