The Eastern Conference is looking to be more competitive than the last few seasons. The Toronto Raptors made a run at the Cavs for the No. 1 seed last year, and this upcoming season, the Pacers and Celtics are likely to contend for the top spot as well. The NBA Free Agency period was wild, and the shape that the Eastern Conference is forming should make for a battle at the top of the conference.
