Woodley Defeats Wonderboy In Controversial Decision [UFC 209 Recap]

Tyrone Woodley defeated Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson with a majority decision to retain the UFC Welterweight Title, but the win came with some slight controversy after Dana White claimed that he had Wonderboy winning the fight, and the crowd was displeased throughout 24 of the 25 minutes. Both Wonderboy and Woodley were calculating movements with no action for long periods of time, the crowd even chanted “fight” towards the end.
