昨晚你睡得好嗎?你到了晚上會否遲遲未有睡意,或者難以入睡?午夜又會否突然醒來?若然你經常出現以上症狀,你可能跟全港四成人一樣,出現了睡眠問題。
人人都認同「早睡早起身體好」,然而香港要睡好睡早彷彿有點奢侈。人生有三分一的時間在睡覺,香港人卻越睡越少,究竟時間花到哪裡去?常被形容活得像「貓頭鷹」的青少年認為睡覺是浪費時間,寧願多賺外快、,多玩手機也不去睡。家長日間要上班,晚上還要照顧孩子功課,叫他們去睡還要三催四請,周末更要費盡心思讓孩子「放電」令他們「有覺好瞓」。有不同醫學研究顯示,睡眠不足會導致肥胖、專注力下降、心血管病等等,不過調查顯示香港的兒童或成人,比其他國家都睡得少,本地專家慨嘆背後原因是香港社會風氣問題,港人爭分奪秒去獲得更好成績,或賺錢拼搏,有時忘掉了人生存的基本休息。
《鏗鏘集》邀請了不同個案寫下他們的睡眠日記,看看睡好睡早在香港這個城市是否可行?是我們不夠自律,還是這個城市出現了問題?

According to local university studies, adults in Hong Kong sleep only 6 hours and up to 2 million people suffer from some kind of insomnia. In this episode, we take a look at this exhausting problem and considers if our work-obsessed culture is slowly pushing us all towards a mental health crisis.
