[딕펑스 (DICKPUNKS)]
멤버 : 김태현(Vocal), 김현우(Piano), 김재흥(Bass), 박가람(Drum) 밴드 딕펑스는 2007년 결성, 2010년 데뷔 앨범 [DICKPUNKS 1st EP]를 발매하며 신나고 경쾌한 락음악으로 인디씬에서 주목을 받았다. Mnet 오디션 프로그램 ‘슈퍼스타K4’에서 준우승을 거머쥐며 탄탄한 실력을 입증함과 동시에 대중에게는 메이저 락밴드로 거듭났다. 연이어 앨범 [VIVA PRIMAVERA], [Hello Goodbye], [29,] 등을 발표하며 활발한 활동을 이어간 딕펑스는 어느 한 장르에 국한되지 않는 넓은 음악적 스펙트럼을 보여주었으며 멤버 전원 군 제대 후, 싱글 앨범 [Bicycle Man], [Special]을 발매하며 여전한 저력을 보여주었다. 딕펑스는 기존의 음악 스타일에서 벗어나기위해 새로운 출발선에 섰다. 2020년 발매한 [평행선]은 그 시작점이며, 앞으로의 딕펑스 음악은 하반기에 발매될 앨범들로 더 견고하게 채워질 것이다.

DICKPUNKS formed in 2007 and released their debut album [DICKPUNKS 1st EP] in 2010, making their mark on the indie scene with high energy rock sounds. Recognized for their solid musical skills, they finished second in the wildly popular Mnet audition program Superstar K and established themselves widely as a major rock band. The band is centered not on the guitar but on the piano, which affords an eclectic and open sound. DICKPUNKS has moved through high energy punk to lyrical, melodic forms seasoned with brass accompaniment in their untiring pursuit of rich and sophisticated music. Convinced that less is more, DICKPUNKS is grounded in simple riffs and bass lines, vibrant melodies, sweet and soothing vocals and a relaxed, analog feel that delights the ear. The band released two single albums, [Bicycle Man] and [Special], showing a forceful return to form. Their 2020 album [Parallel lines] marks the start of that reinvention and the album they are scheduled to release toward the end of year will continue that journey.
