대한민국을 바꾼 100인, 대한민국 경제에 가장 공헌한 인물,

바로, 아산 정주영 명예회장입니다.

1915년, 가난한 농촌 마을에서 태어난 아산.
큰 꿈을 안고 서울로 상경, 오직 성실성만이 자본이었던
그는 늘 앞을 보며 달려왔습니다. 한국전쟁 발발 직후 복구 공사로
기틀을 다져왔던 신생기업 현대, 그리고 현대를 이끌던 아산.

경부고속도로 공사와 중동 진출, 2년 3개월만에 조선과 조선소를
동시에 완성하며 신화를 창조했습니다.
또한, 통일 조국의 미래 개척에도 관심이 많던 그 덕분에
우리는 역사적인 순간들도 마주할 수 있었는데요.
이 모든 것은 아산 정주영의 강인하고 지칠 줄 모르는 행보에서
비롯된 것이었습니다.

80년 세월을 뒤로 한 채 한 사람의 농부로 돌아간
그의 일대기를 담았습니다.

This person is Asan Chung Ju-yung.
In 1915, Asan was born in poor countryside.
Since he left for Seoul with huge dream, he was always running,
looking forward as sincerity was his only capital.

Start-up company Hyundai established its foundation with
restoration work right after the Korean war and Asan was leading Hyundai.
He created success story with construction work of Gyeongbu
expressway, advance to the Middle East, and completion of
shipbuilding and shipbuilding yard only in 2 years and 3 months.

In addition, we could have historic moments thanks to Asan as
he was very interested in pioneering the future of unified nation.
All of these are credited to strong and exhaustless steps of Asan Chung Ju-yung.

We recorded Asan’s life story from when boy Ju-yung met the novel ‘The Soil’ by Chunwon Lee Kwang-su until he became
a farmer after 80 years of time like a gust of wind.
