신은경(태후강씨)은 윤소이(서강희)의 7년 전 소현왕후 살인 사실을 언급한다. 이어 윤소이와 신은경이 오승윤(이윤) 살인 사건의 공범이 사실을 회상하며 신성록(이혁)에게 죄를 덮으라는 사실이 밝혀진다.

'The Last Empress' is story of a musical actress Oh Ssu Ni(Jang Na Ra) who suddenly getting married with emperor Lee Hyuk(Shin Sung Rok). Oh Ssu Ni gets in a fight against absolute power of the palace, and entangled with the murder of the emperor's grandmother as she finds true love and happiness with Na Wang Sik(Choi Jin Hyuk) her way through palace life.
