On February 14, the Asian Art Museum launched its Thursday Nights season with a special evening with Tony Award winner and San Francisco native BD Wong, in partnership with American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.). In the talk between Wong and A.C.T. Associate Producer Ken Savage, Wong discussed his early influences and celebrated career, his advocacy for LGBTQ rights and his return to the San Francisco stage in A.C.T.’s upcoming basketball play, “The Great Leap.”
