On September 8, 2016 the Asian Art Museum hosted Kristina Wong's TAKEOVER, a hilarious, provocative, one-night-only event. In a world where real life literally TRUMPS fiction, what’s the point of performance art? With help from a motley crew of Bay Area personalities, Wong reinterpreted history’s most infamous performance artworks which featured her favorite Bay Area artists, including Khmera Rouge, Jeffrey Lei with Matt Abaya, Jeff Adachi, Faiza Farah, Dhaya Lakshminarayanan with Justin Lucas, Philip Huang, Takeo Rivera and Jai Lei Yee.
