Atletico Madrid’s lone away goal at Bayern Munich was the only goal needed to send Diego Simeone’s men through to the Champions League final. It was far from a pretty match, but Griezmann came through in the clutch, while the back four outlasted a late Bayern push. Lewandowski got Bayern on the board with a beautiful heading finish that was assisted from Vidal. Down the stretch, Fernando Torres received a controversial penalty call after being fouled centimeters outside the box. The refs felt it was in the box, but Torres kick was blocked by Manuel Neuer, which kept the FC Bayern hopes alive for a few more minutes.
