Bayern Munich vs Arsenal in the second leg was played at Allianz Arena with the home side up 2-nil on aggregate. It was a spirited effort from the Gunners but in the second half they went down 3-0 on aggregate with Bastian Schweinsteiger putting the match nearly out of reach. Lukas Podolski scored two minutes later, firing a shot past Manuel Neuer from close range and an impossible angle. Bayern would advance to their third straight quarterfinals in the Champions League as Arsenal would be eliminated in the round of 16 for the fourth straight year.
