Browns Police Were Going to Boycott Games After GRAPHIC CROWELL INSTAGRAM POST

Cleveland Browns running back Isaiah Crowell took to Instagram with a graphic post in the aftermath of the events surrounding the shootings in Dallas, as well as, the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castle. Crowell quickly took down his Instagram post, one that depicted a shadowy figure slicing the neck of a police officer, and the police that work Cleveland Browns games were going to boycott the games during the upcoming season in response to the image. Since then, both Crowell and the Browns police apologized, but it does go to show that you have to be careful what you post on social media.
"Browns running back Isaiah Crowell is now putting his money where his apology is, and it's enough to satisfy the Cleveland police union. In a video posted on his Facebook account Wednesday, Crowell vowed to donate his first game check to the Dallas Fallen Officer Foundation, which amounts to $35,294.12. Crowell, who posted an illustration on his Instagram account last Wednesday of a handcuffed police officer being stabbed in the neck by a hooded figure, is in the third year of a $1.54 million contract that pays him $600,000 this year."
