The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Golden State Warriors in Game 7 of the NBA Finals, 93-89, bringing Cleveland its first championship. LeBron James came through on his promise to deliver Cleveland a title, and his superhuman play in Games 5, 6 and 7 were rewarded with the NBA Finals MVP award. LeBron led all players on both teams in five of the major stat categories. The Warriors were led by Draymond Green in Game 7, who was on fire from behind the arc and on the defensive end of the floor. Green was unable to keep the hot hand in the second half, and the Splash Brothers were far from terrific in aiding the Warriors to win Game 7.
