Celtics Get No. 1 Pick, Lakers Will Get Lonzo Ball and Joel Embiid Won the Draft Lottery

The NBA Draft Lottery is…strange. It gives some team even a 0.5 percent chance of getting the No. 1 overall pick in the draft even if they finished with a near .500 record (the Miami Heat) and had twice the amount of wins as the team that needs the pick more. The Celtics swapped Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Jason Terry years ago for a bunch of Nets future first round picks and it paid off given they have the No. 1 pick in this years draft, followed by the Lakers and thirdly, the Process.
