The mansion in Prstná owes its unusual position to a forested hill, clinging to the Upper Silesian region, from which gave magnificent views of the former part of Prussian Silesia and the nearby Fryštát area. In 1796 the land was bought the Knight Vojtěch Gussnar of Komorna from the Count of Jan Larisch, a member of the old Silesian family. In the middle of the English Natural Park, he built a tasteful two-wing mansion in Empire style. The central palace wing was a central triangular decorative wall with a coat of arms, which is still highlighted by a balcony set on the Tuscan columns. The simple profile ledge divides the ground floor with no façade decoration from the floor, the windows of which have small triangular gables and separated by the Ionian and Tuscan pilasters that support the wide ledge at the end. The building is covered with honeycomb roof with smaller round window openings. To the rear facade was a wing with a square ground plan, which impressed the viewing tower - belvedere, separated from the castle building. The interiors were decorated with stucco decorations. The Gussnars of Komorna gathered in the castle a rich library, where many rare works were represented.
In 1879 they sold Gussnar's Ring to the Counts of the Larissa, and within four years the castle was the seat of the Counts of George and Marie Luisa Larisch-Mönnich, whose fates are permanently written in the history of the Austrian monarchy.
Baroness Marie Luisa of Wallersee was the favourite niece of Empress Elizabeth, called Sissi. She just got Mary to the court in Vienna, and soon she married the Count George Larische-Mönnich, the nephew of Count Jan Larisch, the owner of the majority in Karviná. Young married couples chose Mary as their home: "An old-fashioned but loving and cosy mansion that reminds of paradise and a box of jewellery."
arisch, however, lived in Finger barely for four years. Marie Luisa maintained her permanent contact with her cousin, Archduke Rudolph, the heir to the throne. Only in January 1889 when he and his lover had committed a mysterious way in Mayerling's suicide, the Countess's role as a matchmaker was revealed to her in the whole tragedy. Then she was expelled from the Viennese court, divorced in 1896 and left for Bavaria.
In 1893, the castle in Prstna passed into the hands of the Larissa Counts from nearby Karviná. During the property parcel in 1927, the castle was bought with the adjacent Silesian-Teschen Sokol County Park and after the reconstruction, a Czech elementary school was established on the 1st floor.
During the Second World War, the chateau served for military purposes. In 1947, Štěpán and Marta Wnuka chateau was acquired and, after their death, became the property of the National Committee in Karviná. From 1985 it was the owned by Jednota - Jedność in Český Těšín, which established a restaurant and a hotel. In 1999 the building was returned to its legal heirs.
In October 2012, the beautiful mansion, including the park, was bought by TRESTLES, a.s. The chateau was restored and the original facade of the property was preserved and the adjacent park and driveway developed.
