The mansion in Prstná owes its unusual position to a forested hill, clinging to the Upper Silesian region, from which gave magnificent views of the former part of Prussian Silesia and the nearby Fryštát area. In 1796 the land was bought the Knight Vojtěch Gussnar of Komorna from the Count of Jan Larisch, a member of the old Silesian family. In the middle of the English Natural Park, he built a two-wing mansion in Empire style. The central palace wing has a central triangular decorative wall with a coat of arms, which is highlighted by a balcony set on Tuscan columns. A simple profile ledge divides the ground floor from the the floor, with windows containing triangular gables and separated by the Ionian and Tuscan pilasters. The building is roofed with honeycomb tiles and smaller window openings. The interiors are decorated with stucco decorations. The Gussnars of Komorna gathered in the Chateau a rich library, where many rare works were represented.
In 1879 Gussnar's sold the property to the Counts of the Larissa, and within four years the Chateau was the seat of the Counts of George and Marie Luisa Larisch-Mönnich. In 1893, the Chateau passed into the hands of the Larissa Counts from nearby Karviná. In 1927, the Chateau and the adjacent Silesian-Teschen Sokol County Park sold and and after the reconstruction, a Czech elementary school was established on the 1st floor.
During the Second World War, the chateau served for military purposes. In 1947, Štěpán and Marta Wnuka chateau was acquired and, after their death, became the property of the National Committee in Karviná. From 1985 it was the owned by Jednota - Jedność in Český Těšín, which established a restaurant and a hotel. In 1999 the building was returned to its legal heirs.
In October 2012, the mansion, including the park, was bought by TRESTLES, a.s. The chateau was restored and the original facade of the property was preserved and the adjacent park and driveway developed.
