David Stern now blames Mitch Kupchak, the ex-Lakers front office exec for the reason that Chris Paul never shared a backcourt with Kobe Bryant. Stern has talked time and time and time and time again about how it was for the betterment of the league and that he was looking out for the Hornets best interests as acting owner, to disallow the Chris Paul to Lakers trade for “basketball reasons”. At some point, maybe, David Stern will come to terms that he is the reason Chris Paul didn’t go to the Lakers.
