As anti-extradition protests took place not only on the streets but also in schools, the Education Bureau has received more than 200 complaints about teachers’ misconduct related to social incidents in the past year. Not only did some parents demand teachers to declare their political stance, the Chief Executive also said that schools should not be out of control while the government mouthpiece in the Mainland called for completely ridding the Hong Kong education sector of poison.
