Alex Rodriguez career has come to an end, as he will step into the batters box for the last time in his career on Friday at Yankee Stadium (barring a team change, although unlikely). The Yankees World Series champion, who sits on 696 Home Runs, belongs in the 3,000 hit club and the 2,000 RBI club, will not be remembered for his astronomical numbers. In fact, Rodriguez might be the greatest position player in MLB history, but his antics off the field, steroid abuse and unnatural ability to fit in anywhere he went caused for a career marred by scathing headlines and overall fan hate.
