Italy Fights Off England [Italy vs. England 2-1 Recap]

The 3rd match of Day 3 at the World Cup was one of the most anticipated of the Group Stages: Italy vs. England. Italy survived the contest in part because of Super Mario, Mario Balotelli, and his game winning header to send Italy to its first 3 points of the Group Rounds. England impressed many though, the young team included a 20 year old, Ross Barkely, who came very close to scoring a goal of his own in the second half when he subbed in. England will be a scary team to face, Uruguay and Costa Rica are up next. As for Italy this was a BIG first win of the tournament!
