Jerry Jones, Jason Garrett and the entire Dallas Cowboys team kneeled before the national anthem on Monday Night Football, and then stood up for the anthem itself. The problem here, once again, is that this completely misses the point of the anthem protest, which is not in any way, shape or form a protest of the actual national anthem. Kaepernick took a knee because of the racial inequality in America, since then, it seems like everybody has completely forgotten that or its context. The Cowboys went on to win 28-17 in convincing fashion against the Cardinals. The game included a highlight reel for Dez Bryant who literally carried the Cardinals secondary into the end zone.
