“It cast the moment in a whole new light. From the original camera angle, it appeared Barnes got the ball inches from Bryant’s face and that Kobe didn’t flinch. The new footage appears to show the fake is to Bryant’s right side and not directly at him, despite the fact that he’s said (per the Los Angeles Daily News) he “processed it pretty quickly,” which is why he didn’t flinch."
